Get-Paid.com review: eighteen years old, fifty cents to cash out, and a referral program with two floors

Get-Paid.com has been running since 2008 under Digitech Services Ltd, which makes it older than most of the sites people argue about on forums. It is also one of the least discussed, and using it for an afternoon explains both facts. It is not slick. It is, as far as we can tell from its own documentation, straightforward.

The floor is the headline

Cashouts start at $0.50 for members outside Australia, Canada, the UK and the US, and $1.00 inside them. Payment lands within 24 to 48 hours according to the FAQ, or 24 to 72 according to the how it works page, which is the kind of small inconsistency you notice on a site of this age.

That floor matters more than it sounds. The standard way people lose money in this category is accumulating a balance on a site they later abandon. A fifty cent threshold means you can complete one offer, withdraw, and know for certain whether the site pays, before you have invested anything worth losing.

Coins, levels, and a bonus that compounds

Everything pays in coins worth $0.002 each, so 500 coins is a dollar. Alongside that sits an experience system: activity earns XP, XP raises your level, and each level adds a bonus to everything you earn. Get-Paid's own example is a 3% bonus at level 4 rising to roughly 15% at level 25.

That is unusual. Most sites reward volume; this one rewards persistence, which suits someone using one site steadily more than someone spreading across six.

The referral program, which is the best reason to look

Two tiers, both uncapped. You earn up to 30% of the coins your own referrals earn, and up to a further 10% of the coins earned by anyone they go on to refer.

Get-Paid's worked example: five referrals each earning 100 coins pays you 150 coins. If those five each bring in two more people who also earn 100 coins, that second tier adds another 100, for 250 coins from referrals you made once.

Two honest notes. The phrasing is "up to", so treat 30% and 10% as ceilings rather than what every account receives, and given the levelling system it is likely the rate climbs with your level. And a second tier is only worth anything if your referrals go on to refer people themselves, which most never do. Value the 30% and treat the 10% as occasional.

What is not good about it

The site has stale corners. Its FAQ still directs members to a forum that was retired in 2018. Coin values per offer vary enormously, from dozens of coins down to fractions of one, so it is worth checking what an offer pays before starting it.

None of that is dishonest, it is just old. But it does mean reading before clicking rather than trusting that every offer is worth your time.

Bottom line

A reasonable first site precisely because the fifty cent floor lets you test it for almost nothing, and a good long-term one if you refer people, because 30% across two tiers is the joint highest headline rate on this site.
