GG2U review: the site that pays out more and refers less

GG2U is small, plain-looking, and has a reputation on r/beermoney that its size does not explain. The reason is a single design decision, and it is one that cuts both ways.

The high payout share

Most get-paid-to sites keep somewhere between 35% and 60% of what an advertiser pays for your completed offer. GG2U advertises passing 65% to 90% of that revenue through to members. If those figures hold, the same offer completed on GG2U pays you meaningfully more than it would elsewhere.

That is the whole pitch, and it is a rare one. Most sites in this category compete on the size of the signup bonus or the flashiness of the dashboard. GG2U competes on the split.

The trade

You can see the consequence in the referral program: 5% of every payout your referrals receive, for life and uncapped. That is modest next to GAIN.GG at 10% or KashKick at 25% on games and deals, and GG2U's own explanation is the honest one: the money going to members leaves less margin for commissions.

So GG2U is the site to use, not the site to recruit for. That is an unusual thing for a rewards site to be, and worth knowing before you decide where to put your effort.

Practical details

The cashout floor is $7, higher than several rivals, so this is not the app for proving the model to yourself in an afternoon. PayPal, Bitcoin through Coinbase with a 3% fee, and gift cards are the routes out. Earning inventory is strongest in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

It is gamer-flavoured in presentation, but nothing about the surveys or offer walls requires you to be a gamer. There is also a loyalty quirk: every fifth payout earns a golden-token prize wheel spin worth between $1 and $7.

The referral angle

Referrals work through a tracking link from your account rather than a code, so there is nothing to type in. New members get GG2U's standard $1 signup bonus, which everyone receives, rather than a separate referral bonus.

The referrer's 5% is uncapped and paid for the life of the account, which makes it a slow compounding asset rather than a quick win. Draw a GG2U link before you register so someone's rotation gets the credit, then add your own.

Bottom line

Worth using if you are the sort of person who compares what an offer pays across two sites before doing it. Less worth building a referral base on, and GG2U does not pretend otherwise.
