Is Tellwut legit?

Tellwut is a survey community running since 2010, with more than 450,000 members and over $3 million awarded. Its distinguishing feature is that you are not disqualified partway through a survey, the same promise PaidViewpoint makes. Members can also create their own polls and get paid for them. SurveyPolice has ranked it a top three survey site for nine years.

Facts on this page were checked against Tellwut's own published terms on August 30, 2026.

How it pays

The practical test of a rewards program isn't whether it exists, it's whether money leaves it. Tellwut pays via Gift cards from many retailers, PayPal, and prepaid cards. Minimum payout: About $10, or roughly 4,000 points, and $25 for PayPal specifically. Points are worth more if you save them: 500 points buys a $5 card, but 950 buys a $10 one.. A low floor means you find out quickly whether it works for you; a higher one means your first payout takes longer to arrive, which is worth knowing going in rather than discovering at week three.

Before you sign up

United States and Canada only, and 18 or over. One account per household, so you cannot refer people you live with. Payouts take around three weeks to process. Best treated as a relaxed panel rather than an earner: the no disqualification promise is genuinely pleasant, the amounts are small.

How we check

Every figure on this page comes from Tellwut's own help pages or terms, not from a press release or another blog, and it carries the date we last read them. We re-check on a rolling cycle and correct mistakes in public when we find them. If a program's terms ever prohibited sharing referrals on a site like this one, it wouldn't be listed here at all, which is why the catalog is smaller than the internet's usual "top 50 apps" lists.
